This study sets out to conduct the effectiveness of process-oriented approach on the ESL writing teaching for non-Eng-lish majors in Yunnan Agricultural University(YAU),with the aim of enhancing the students' English writing proficiency andscores.120 non-English major sophomores and 10 English teachers from YAU are involved in it.With the results of questionnaire,interview and the composition scores of the target students,the findings indicate that the students have a positive attitude towardsprocess-oriented writing approach and it can help them write better and make the writing class more interesting.
This paper analyses the design and implementation of Listening Course of New College English(Book 3) within the second year non-English major students in Yunnan Agricultural University, China. This includes the course's planning and delivery with attention upon its learning theories and frameworks. Furthermore, it focuses on how it impacts upon the teaching and learning process. This includes the identification and appropriateness of its learning outcomes, learning activities, its assessment criteria and evaluation. This paper specifically reflects on the course's concept of constructive alignment.
Through analyzing the construction and present situation of campus landscapes in China, primary issues to be focused in the construction of campus landscape system were elaborated, and 6 dominant factors in constructing characteristic campus landscapes were proposed from the perspectives of regional characteristics, characteristics of the times, cultural context, characteristics of humanity, ecological characteristics and school-based features.
