It is well-known that Chinese dish names concentrate on the essence of traditional Chinese culture,reflecting the collective wisdom of Chinese nation.In recent years,good and awkward translation of Chinese dish names coexist with each other,which has a negative influence on Chinese image.Nowadays many people have begun to center on and study the English translation of Chinese dishes names.Descriptive translation is a clear answer to it.
一、引言
《英语课程标准（2011年版）》明确指出，“外语教育应强调语言学习的实践性，主张尽可能地为学生创造在真实语境中运用语言的机会”（教育部，2012：3）。在新课标的指导下，各地纷纷探索适合培养学生人文素养、创新意识和实践能力的小学英语新教法。其中，将戏剧作为教学手段和媒介渗透于学校课程教学的方法——“戏剧教学法”（Learning through drama），逐渐引起英语教育领域的关注。
Business English translation is a cognitive process.schema theory has seldom been applied to business English.This paper is written on the basis of the features of business English and schema theory;it studies the process in which schemata are formed in the brain and the application of four major schemata to business English translation.Through introducing theories and illustrating many examples,the thesis shows the importance of the application of the schema theory to business English translation.
