The contents of flavonoids and puerarin in Pueraria lobata(Willd.) Ohwi were measured by UV-spectrophotometry and HPLC.The results showed that contents of flavonoids and puerarin in P.lobata were related to different parts and gathering season.The flavonoids and puerarin content from vines gathered in autumn and winter were the highest,reached to 5.18%-6.12% and 0.982%-1.718% respectively.The vine is regarded as the available medicinal resources and is worth exploiting.
