Imagism is a literary movement launched by British and American poets early in the 20th century, while Imagist poetry exists in both Western and Chinese history of literature. This thesis is a discussion on the relationship between the western Imagism school and the Chinese poetry with the conclusion that cultures are pervasive and interrelated, intercultural communication is a necessity.
