A newly recorded genus Zamarada Moore, 1887 of Geometridae and a newly recorded species Z. excisa Hampson, 1891 from China are reported. Morphological descriptions and illustrations are given.
A list of the genus Acontia from China is provided, with 10 species in all. The species A. disrupta is revised as the synonym ofA. sexpunctata. The recorded A. nivipicta in China is reported as a misidentification. A key to species of Acontia in China, based on male genitalia, is provided.
