As classroom interaction forms the basis of any interactive language classroom,it is thus very important and valuable for language teacher to investigate.And This article attempts to account for how the teaching materials facilitate classroom interaction.
Enhancing the ability of oral communication is the general trend of language teaching in China. Through analyzing the characteristics of International Economics and Trade Major, this paper identifies and analyses contextual factors in English Language Teaching in the major, and discusses the practices of communicative language teaching which could be adapted to this context, in which learners are undergraduates of International Economics and Trade, then the importance and difficulties of the teaching approach has been highlighted.
