This paper, on the basis of the structure of the Liang State Mausoleum of the Westem Han Dynasty in Yongcheng county, Henan province, argues that the architectural design of the Han Dynasty was mainly based on the Zhou ritual system but made some changes.
The Wuzhuang site is an important, rather early group of remains among the Neolithic vestiges known in the Huaihe River valley. The Wuzhuang I cultural remains are much similar to the Shishanzi culture in northern Anhui, and the differences between the two complexes are mostly due to regional diversity. The cultural relics of Wuzhuang Ⅱ roughtly resemble those of Houjiazhai Ⅱ in Dingyuan, Anhui. This cultural complex was influenced by the Miaodigou culture and especially the contemporary Zhengzhou Dahecun culture, and absorbed some elements of the Beiyinyangying culture in the lower Yangtze River valley and the eastern cultural system is Shandong. With strong distinctive features in cultural aspect, it can be tentatively called Wuzhuang Ⅱ culture.
