Tribological properties and wear prediction model of TiC particles reinforced Ni-base alloy composite coatings被引量:3

TiC particles reinforced Ni-based alloy composite coatings were prepared on 7005 aluminum alloy by plasma spray. The effects of load, speed and temperature on the tribological behavior and mechanisms of the composite coatings under dry friction were researched. The wear prediction model of the composite coatings was established based on the least square support vector machine (LS-SVM). The results show that the composite coatings exhibit smaller friction coefficients and wear losses than the Ni-based alloy coatings under different friction conditions. The predicting time of the LS-SVM model is only 12.93%of that of the BP-ANN model, and the predicting accuracies on friction coefficients and wear losses of the former are increased by 58.74%and 41.87%compared with the latter. The LS-SVM model can effectively predict the tribological behavior of the TiCP/Ni-base alloy composite coatings under dry friction.

Effects of nitrogen flux on microstructure and tribological properties of in-situ TiN coatings deposited on TC11 titanium alloy by electrospark deposition被引量:12

In order to improve the tribological properties of titanium alloys,the in-situ TiN coatings were prepared by electrospark deposition(ESD) on the surface of TC11 titanium alloy.The effects of nitrogen flux on the microstructure and tribological properties of TiN coatings were investigated.The results show that the coating is relative thin when the nitrogen flux is small and mainly consists of Ti2N,α-Ti,Ti O and TiN phases,and the metastable phase of Ti2N is developed due to the rapid solidification of ESD.While in excessive nitrogen flux condition,many micro-cracks and holes might be generated in the coating.In moderate nitrogen flux,the coating is mainly composed of TiN phase,and is dense and uniform(50-55 μm).The average hardness is HV0.2 1165.2,which is 3.4 times that of the TC11 substrate.The TiN coatings prepared in moderate nitrogen flux perform the best wear resistance.The wear loss of the coating is 0.4 mg,which is 2/9 that of the TC11 substrate.The main wear mechanisms of the coatings are micro-cutting wear accompanied by multi-plastic deformation wear.

激光熔覆TiB_2颗粒增强镍基合金复合涂层的微观组织与摩擦学性能研究被引量:9

为了提高铝合金摩擦构件的耐磨性能,运用激光熔覆技术在铝合金表面制备了Ti B2颗粒增强镍基合金(Ti B2/镍基合金)复合涂层,分析了其微观组织结构,研究了其在干摩擦和海水介质中的摩擦磨损行为与机制。结果表明:复合涂层中均匀分布有Ti B2增强相,并含有Ti B、Ti C、Cr B和Cr23C6等反应生成硬质相,显微硬度达到855.8HV0.5,是铝合金母材的6.7倍;不同环境介质中,复合涂层的摩擦系数和磨损失重均较镍基合金涂层和铝合金母材显著降低;干摩擦条件下,复合涂层的磨损机理以微观切削磨损为主,并伴有一定的硬质颗粒剥落;海水环境中,复合涂层的磨损机理转变为微观切削磨损和点蚀腐蚀磨损。
