By taking the north zone of Qionglai City constructing "world modern garden city" for example, the paper analyzed the concept of garden city, location situation and development of Qionglai City. After analysis of tourist location advantage of Qionglai City, the vital significance for overall layout of urban landscape was emphasized. Furthermore, strategies for concept planning of the north zone of Qionglai City had been illustrated from the perspectives of landscape shaping, ecological landscape and green land system structure. It emphasized that the overall landscape should be guided by "city in the field and garden in the city", pay attention to co-existence between ecological group garden and aggregation group, and highlight resources advantage of collection area of ecological landscapes. In terms of landscape shaping, it stressed unity, ecology, regionality and character. In terms of characteristic creation, discussion had been conducted from three aspects which were garden city demonstration line, residential landscape and waterfront shoreline. It emphasized that, during construction of world modern garden city, it should make the main line of city image clear, respect culture; well deal with the relations between city and village, between human and environment, and between function and image; and build livable ecological urban place, so as to protect environment, explore city feature and build city image.
The reconstruction of Luoshui Township after the Wenchuan Earthquake was taken for an example, geological location, cultural context and original image of the town were analyzed on the basis of historical records and full investigation, functional orientations, cultural elements and landscape elements were summarized. It was proposed that the reconstruction of its landscapes and images should pay more attention to the integration of natural environment and town, function and form, as well as the inheritance and promotion of local cultures, stress "human-centered" designs and planning techniques of "integrating into natural landscapes, shaping the soul of culture". On this basis, planning schemes were given, design focuses, overall structure, planar architectural layout, style selection, landscape design and green space system planning were analyzed, moreover, how to deal with the relationship between city and people, city and environment, city and culture was discussed to find a way to the orderly and sustainable development of city.
By taking the regulatory detailed planning of Wenfeng District in Nanchong City for example,public green spaces,protective green spaces and ecological green spaces are planned systematically on the basis of "protective,needs-oriented,systematic and characteristic" principles.Landscape system structure of "one belt,one surface,four axes,five districts and multiple points" was analyzed,concrete designs of landscape infiltration surface,landscape axis and style division elaborated.The way of integrating landscape system planning and current situation was discussed in the image construction of new urban district to co-construct characteristic urban images,realize the coordination of city,environment and culture,optimization of urban eco-environment benefits,orderly and sustainable development of urban ecological conditions.
