In his representative,Native Son,Richard Wright employed typical descriptions of Gothic in plots,setting,and portrayal of characters to expose that the seeds of racism had yielded the fruit of dehumanization of black Americans and to alarm the bell that racism is a double-sword which hurts not only blacks but also whites.
