1 CLINICAL DATA All of 56 cases, 36 cases were male, 20 cases female, aged in the range from 41 to 76 years, averagely 56 years; the duration of illness, less than 1 month were 26 cases, 2-3 months 23 cases, 4--6 months 7 cases; motion aphasia were 22 cases, sensory aphasia 15 cases, mixed aphasia 16 cases, nominal aphasia 3 cases. Except 2 out-patients, other 54 cases were all in-patients of He'nan People's Hospital. All cases were tested by CT or MRI and diagnosed as cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage and were all convalescent patients. The diagnosis complied with the Pilot Standards formulated by the coordination group of acute cerebral diseases of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, P. R. C. in 1996.
