In recently years, with the increasing price of petroleum, Saudi Arabia, the main petroleum exporting area, has adjusted it petroleum export stratagem. It has changed direct petroleum export to petruleum & chemical product export, in order to increase added value. With the increasing vest in petruleum & chemical, the construction of petruleum & chemical is booming in Saudi Arabia. Sinopec and AKER KVAERNER CORP got the bid of SABIC project in Saudi Arabia in May 2005. The union of the second construction company of Sinopec; Shanghai construction company of Sinopec and AKER KVAERNER CORP is responsible for this project.
