Disputes remain in the researches of the history of modern Chinese phonetics and arouse academic concerns to the modern phones. Literatures on Chinese-Korean corresponding phones, such as “Hong Wu Zheng Yun Yi Xun”(《洪武正韵译训》), “Si Sheng Tong Jie”(《四声通解》), “Fan Yi Laoqida: Piao Tong Shi”(《翻译老乞大·朴通事》), have left behind valuable references for the researches on these disputable issues. By taking the analyses of devoicing of voiced sound and the phone “y” in Chinese for examples, the paper clarifies that a comprehensive study on literatures on Chinese-Korean corresponding phones as well as materials of Chinese phonology will make a new breakthrough to the researches on modern phones.
