The Hui people believe in Islam. Since the Islamic rules they follow have much in common with some of the items of the economic civil law in China, the Hui people can well accept the legal items of the country. The acceptance, despite its religious origin, helps the country’s propaganda and implementation of the economic civil law. But difficulties also appear in this process because of the great influence of the Islamic rules.
