N-(m-ferrocenylphenyl)-formamide has been synthesized by the reaction of m-ferrocenyl-aniline with DMF, and characterized by elements analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and X-ray structure determination. The crystallized was in the monoclinic, P21/c space group, with a=0.140 94(3) nm, b=0.102 87(2) nm, c=0.100 26(2) nm, β=104.85(3)° and final R indices [I>2σ(I)] R1=0.072 7, wR2=0.184 5. An infinite one-dimensional chain is formed by intermolecular hydrogen bonding N-H...O. Cyclic voltammetry was studied comparing with the parent compound (m-ferrocenylaniline). CCDC: 243511.
A novel super molecule [Na(C60H80O12)]+- was obtained by ext raction of calix arene (L) for an aqueous solution containing -, and N aCl into CH2Cl2. The crystal structure and properties of the title super molecul e were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and 1H NMR spectra. The X-ray single crystal structure analysis shows that the crystal was Tetragon al system with space group P4/n and the unit cell parameters were as follows: a= 2.880 8(18) nm, b=2.880 8(18) nm, c=2.292 4(5) nm, and final R indices : R1=0.048 5, wR2=0.106 1.
