In this paper,it is introduced how to use the solid and pre/postmodules of I-DEAS software to make object modeling and 3D fruit element meshin large-scale hydraulic turbine structure design and strength analysis.The method,combining the automatic with the interaction,is adopted to establish solid modedand finite element computing model.
