Three hydrogen bond networks of cobalt(II) coordination polymers { [Co(btp)2(H2O)2]·2(l,2-Hbdc)·2H2O}n (1), { [Co(btp) (1,3 -bdc)(H2O)]·1.5H2O } n (2) and { [Co(btp)2(H2O)2]·(1,4-bdc) } n (3) were synthesized by 1,3 -bis(1,2,4- triazol- 1-yl)propane (btp) and benzenedicarboxylate position isomers. Complex 1 is comprised of [Co(btp)z(H20)]2n+ 1D cation chains, 1,2-Hbdc anions and lattice water molecules. The structure of 2 is an undulated 2D (4,4) network. Two adjacent networks interpenetrate each other to form a new 2D double-layers network which is sustained by the hydrogen bond interactions in 2. Complex 3 is comprised of [Co(btp)z(H20)]n2n+ 1D cation chains and 1,4-bdc2 anions. These [Co(btp)2(H2O)]n^2+ 1D cations and 1,2-Hbdc-/1,4-bdc2- anions form 2D hydrogen bond networks in 1 and 3. The thermal stabilities of 1, 2 and 3 were investigated.
The new cadmium(N) coordination polymer [Cd(bte)2(dca)2]n 1 (bte = 1,2-bis(1,2,4- triazol-1-yl)ethane, dca = dicyanamide) was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 8.7148(15), b = 8.6142(17), c = 15.204(3) A, fl= 92.100(10)°, V= 1140.6(4) A3, Z= 2, Mr = 572.87, Dc= 1.668 g/cm3, F(000) = 572, /t = 1.004 mm-l, the final R = 0.0654 and wR = 0.1429 for 1737 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). The cadmium atom is coordinated equatorially by four nitrogen atoms from four bte ligands and axially by two nitrogen atoms from two dca anions to adopt a distorted octahedral geometry. Each bte molecule bridges two cadmium(II) atoms. Two strands of bte molecules are wrapped around each other, and held together by cadmium(H) atoms. 1 Forms a double chain structure containing eighteen-membered Cd2(bte)2 rings.
The reaction of 4-amino-3,5-bis(imidazol-l-ylmethyl)-1,2,4-triazole (abit) and manganese(Ⅱ) salts yields four coordination polymers {[Mn(abit)3](C104)z}n (1), {[Mn(abit)3](PF6)2},, (2), [Mn(abit)(dca)2(H2O)2],, (3a) and [Mn(abit)(dca)2(H2O)2]n (3b). Compounds 1 and 2 are one-dimensional triple-stranded chain. Compounds 3a and 3b are polymorphous and construct one-dimensional single chain. The conformational analysis is performed. The thermal properties have been investigated.
