基于内容轨迹的内容中心网络多径路由策略被引量:3

内容中心网络路由的研究主要关注利用转发信息库端口来获取到达服务器的最优路径,路由路径外的节点缓存中内容无法得到充分利用.而利用多个转发信息库端口的多径路由虽可对缓存充分利用,但会带来冗余传输.针对这些问题,提出了一种基于内容轨迹的多径路由策略,利用内容轨迹将兴趣报文引导至原有路由表路径外的缓存处,使兴趣报文在到达服务器前搜索更多缓存,增加网内缓存命中率,减小服务器负载和兴趣报文平均跳数,并将多径路由冗余控制在一定范围内.仿真结果表明,基于内容轨迹的多径路由策略相对现有策略服务器负载降低约10%,且在服务器较远的场景下可有效降低请求平均跳数.相对于单径路由,基于内容轨迹的多径路由策略将网内缓存命中率提升了约20%;相对于多径路由冗余降低10%以上,且具有相近的网内缓存命中率.

Intelligent Resources Management System Design in Information Centric Networking被引量:2

Information centric networking(ICN) is a new network architecture that is centred on accessing content. It aims to solve some of the problems associated with IP networks, increasing content distribution capability and improving users' experience. To analyse the requests' patterns and fully utilize the universal cached contents, a novel intelligent resources management system is proposed, which enables effi cient cache resource allocation in real time, based on changing user demand patterns. The system is composed of two parts. The fi rst part is a fi ne-grain traffi c estimation algorithm called Temporal Poisson traffi c prediction(TP2) that aims at analysing the traffi c pattern(or aggregated user requests' demands) for different contents. The second part is a collaborative cache placement algorithm that is based on traffic estimated by TP2. The experimental results show that TP2 has better performance than other comparable traffi c prediction algorithms and the proposed intelligent system can increase the utilization of cache resources and improve the network capacity.

A Novel Floodless Service Discovery Mechanism Designed for Software-Defined Networking

The low-cost,self-configuration capability and "plug-and-play" feature of Ethernet establishes its dominant position in the local area networks(LAN).However,it is hard to extend to large scale because of the legacy broadcast-based service discovery mechanism.Therefore,to solve this problem,a new split network architecture named Software-Defined Networking(SDN) is introduced in this paper,and a novel floodless service discovery mechanism(FSDM)for SDN is designed.For the FSDM,the widespread broadcast messages for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) and Address Resolution Protocol(ARP) are considered especially,respectively.Then the DHCP relay and ARP proxy are proposed to handle DHCP broadcast messages and ARP broadcast messages,respectively.The proposed FSDM in this paper can eliminate flooding completely,reserve the autoconfiguration characteristics.Particularly,there is no need to change the existing hardware,software and protocols of hosts for the proposed scheme.Finally,the simulation results are demonstrated to show that our proposed model allows redundant links existed in network and has the property of scalability,which can significantly reduce network traffic in data plane and control traffic in control plane,and decrease the overhead of control plane.

Mobility Support for Content Source in Content-Centric Networking被引量:1

Content-centric networking(CCN) is rising to solve the problems suffered by traditional networks,especially in terms of content delivery.One of the critical issues for basic CCN is supporting mobility.Handoff of Mobile Content Source(MCS) will result in a large scale routing update,which generates huge amount of routing overhead and leads to service interruption.Most of the existing CCN mobility mechanisms are transplanted from the IP mobility solutions,which are unnaturally integrated with CCN.Different from previous works,a mobility strategy from the perspective of CCN architecture is proposed to support the handoff of MCS in this paper.Especially,we define the critical network routers that can limit the routing update scale effectively when MCS handoff is conducted.Based on the defined critical network routers,the proposed scheme can provide lower routing update overhead,faster routing convergence and shorter service interruption time.Finally,series of simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of our proposed scheme.
