Cobalt titanate and gallium titanate zeolites were synthesized hydrothermally using tetraethylammonium hydroxide and/or tetrapropylammonium bromide as template. The study of the effects of pH value, amount and feed order of template and reaction time on the products indicated that the most important factor was the pH value of the reaction medium, which must be in between 2 to 6 to give zeolite crystals. The products have been characterized by XRD, SEM, DTA, IR, UV Vis and N 2 adsorption techniques to be microporous zeolites, where Ti atoms are in complexation forms of TiO 4 and TiO 6. The Co titanate and Ga titanate zeolites had specific area of 263 and 204 m 2/g, respectively.
