脉冲磁场对Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金凝固及力学性能的影响被引量:44

在Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金凝固过程中施加不同频率的脉冲磁场,研究脉冲磁场对Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金凝固的影响。实验结果表明,脉冲磁场使Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金晶粒细化,在频率为5Hz条件下获得最佳的晶粒细化效果,平均晶粒尺寸从未加脉冲磁场条件下的65μm细化到37μm。脉冲磁场的搅拌导致熔体磁过冷及熔体温度梯度降低是晶粒细化的主要原因。脉冲磁场的施加使抗拉强度和延伸率较常规铸造合金分别提高了4.8%、78.5%。

Effects of RE and Sr additions on dendrite growth and phase precipitation in AZ91D magnesium alloy被引量:2

To develop AZ91D alloys with fine microstructure, effects of the addition of rare earth (RE), Sr and RE + Sr on the dendrite growth and phase precipitation in AZ91D magnesium alloy were studied, respectively. The results show that the microstructure is refined and the morphology of β-Mg17A112 phase is modified with RE or Sr addition, especially with the RE+Sr composite addition which can reduce the average grain size of AZ91D alloy obviously to 141 μm. The needle-like or block-like new phases adhering to β-Mg17A112 phase form at interdendrites during solidification. The enrichment of RE or/and Sr elements in front of the solidification interface, especially at the tips of α-Mg dendrite, which restricts the growth of α-Mg dendrite, changes the preferential growth of α-Mg and finally results in the grain refinement and the blunting of α-Mg dendrite.

Microstructure refinement of AZ91D alloy solidified with pulsed magnetic field被引量:24

The effects of pulsed magnetic field on the solidified microstructure of an AZ91D magnesium alloy were investigated. The experimental results show that the remarkable microstructural refinement is achieved when the pulsed magnetic field is applied in the solidification of AZ91D alloy. The average grain size of the as-cast microstructure of AZ91D alloy is refined to 104 μm. Besides the grain refinement, the morphology of the primary α-Mg is changed from dendritic to rosette, then to globular shape with changing the parameters of the pulsed magnetic field. The pulsed magnetic field causes melt convection during solidification, which makes the temperature of the whole melt homogenized, and produces an undercooling zone in front of the liquid/solid interface by the magnetic pressure, which makes the nucleation rate increased and big dendrites prohibited. In addition, primary α-Mg dendrites break into fine crystals, resulting in a refined solidification structure of the AZ91D alloy. The Joule heat effect induced in the melt also strengthens the grain refinement effect and spheroidization of dendrite arms.

通过改变凝固过程中的冷却速率,研究了冷却速率对Mg-Gd-Y-Zr合金凝固组织与成分微观偏析的影响。随冷却速率提高,合金组织明显细化,初生相形貌由粗大等轴枝晶逐渐向细小树枝晶转变,合金凝固过程中形核率增加,合金晶粒尺寸逐渐减小;冷却速率的提高可以降低溶质元素的扩散速率,从而增加合金元素在枝晶干中的固溶度,减轻凝固过程中合金元素Gd与Y的微观偏析,同时使凝固过程中形成的共晶减少,共晶组织分布更加弥散、均匀。

Simulation of electromagnetic-flow fields in Mg melt under pulsed magnetic field被引量:13

The effects of a pulsed magnetic field on the solidified microstructure of pure Mg were investigated.The results show that microstructure of pure Mg is considerably refined via columnar-to-equiaxed growth under the pulsed magnetic field and the average grain size is refined to 260μm under the optimal processing conditions.A mathematical model was built to describe the interaction of the electromagnetic-flow fields during solidification with ANSYS software.The pulsed electric circuit was first solved and then it is substituted into the magnetic field model.The fluid flow model was solved with the acquired electromagnetic force.The effects of pulse voltage frequency on the current wave and on the distribution of magnetic and flow fields were numerically studied.The pulsed magnetic field increases melt convection,which stirs and fractures the dendritic arms into pieces.These broken pieces are transported into the bulk liquid by the liquid flow and act as nuclei to enhance grain refinement.The Joule heat effect produced by the electric current also participates in the microstructural refinement.

Influence of Electric Current on Kirkendall Diffusion of Zn/Cu Couples

在 Zn/Cu 夫妇的 Kirkendall 散开上的电流的影响被调查。在不同电流的行动下面, Zn/Cu 散开夫妇在不同成立时间在 785 ° C 被退火。试验性的结果证明 Kirkendall 飞机的排水量与增加成立时间增加。然而,没有电流,有电流的 Kirkendall 飞机的排水量比那大。在 Kirkendall 飞机和成立时间的排水量之间的关系在电流的行动下面被改变。为提高效果的电流的可能的原因是从电子的精力转移到跳的原子,增加综合散开系数,它在 Kirkendall 飞机的速度导致增加。
