A transition metal complex Zn(mpc)2(H2O)2(Hmpc=3-methylpyrazole-5-carboxylic acid) has been synth-esized by the reaction of Hmpc with Zn(NO3) 2·6H2O using hydrothermal method, which was characterized by IR spe-ctra,elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. The structure reveals that the complex crystallizes in the trigonal space group R3c with the ZnⅡ atom on a threefold axis, composed of one ZnⅡ atom, two independent mpc-ligands and two coordinated water.Hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture.Fluorescent analysis in the dilute EtOH solution shows that the title complex exhibits a broad fluorescent band at 471 nm upon photoexcitation at 280 nm and has a bathochromic shift of the emission energy compared with the free ligand, possibly due to metal-to-ligand charge transfer(MLCT) .CCDC:682402.
A novel heterometallic complex [Na2Cu2Gd2(pdc)4(H2O)14·2H2O] (H3pdc = 1H- pyrazole-3,5-dicarboxylic acid) has been synthesized and characterized by 1R spectra, elemental analysis, and single-crystal X-ray analysis. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P2 1/c with a = 7.9521(18), b = 12.251(3), c = 22.293(5) A, β = 110.173(5)°, V= 2038.5(8) A^3, Mr = 1388.13, Z = 2, F(000) = 1352, Dc = 2.261 g/cm^3,/2 = 4.380 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0409 and wR = 0.0622 for 2453 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). The structural analysis shows that the Na^I, Cu^II and Gd^II ions are linked together by two kinds of bridging ligands (pdc^3- and H2O) to form a main moiety [Na2Cu2Gd2(pdc)4(H2O)14], which can be regarded as a centrosymmetric dimmer of [NaCuGd(pdc)2(H2O)7]. Many hydrogen bonds exist in the complex to build a 3D supramolecular framework.
The compound (SiCl3)2Fe(CO)4 was synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2 1/n with α = 8.287(2), b = 9.829(2), c = 9.042(2) A, β = 96.19(3)°, V= 732.2(3) A^3, C4Cl6FeO4Si2, Mr = 436.77, Z = 2, Dc = 1.981 g/cm^3, F(000) = 424, μ(MoKα) = 2.282 mm^-1, the final R = 0.048 and wR = 0.164 for 1109 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). The crystal structure of (SiCl3)2Fe(CO)4 reveals that the Si(l)- Fe-Si(l)^a sequence is linear and perpendicular to the Fe(CO)4 cross-shaped plane.
