In this paper, the pinning synchronization problem of stochastic delayed complex network (SDCN) is investigated by using a novel hybrid pinning controller. The proposed hybrid pinning controller is composed of adaptive controller and impulsive controller, where the two controllers are both added to a fraction of nodes in the network. Using the Lyapunov stability theory and the novel hybrid pinning controller, some sufficient conditions are derived for the exponential synchronization of such dynamical networks in mean square. Two numerical simulation examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The simulation results show that the proposed control scheme has a fast convergence rate compared with the conventional adaptive pinning method.
This work presents two different methods-nonlinear control method and adaptive control approach to achieve the modified projective synchronization of a new hyperchaotic system with known or unknown parameters.Based on Lyapunov stability theory, nonlinear control method is adopted when the parameters of driving and response systems are known beforehand;when the parameters are fully unknown, adaptive controllers and parameters update laws are proposed to synchronize two different hyperchaotic system and identify the unknown parameters. Moreover, the rate of synchronization can be regulated by adjusting the control gains designed in the controllers. The corresponding simulations are exploited to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed two methods.
A general model of linearly stochastically coupled identical connected neural networks with hybrid coupling is proposed, which is composed of constant coupling, coupling discrete time-varying delay and coupling distributed timevarying delay. All the coupling terms are subjected to stochastic disturbances described in terms of Brownian motion, which reflects a more realistic dynamical behaviour of coupled systems in practice. Based on a simple adaptive feedback controller and stochastic stability theory, several sufficient criteria are presented to ensure the synchronization of linearly stochastically coupled complex networks with coupling mixed time-varying delays. Finally, numerical simulations illustrated by scale-free complex networks verify the effectiveness of the proposed controllers.
