On fairness,full cooperation,and quantum game with incomplete information

Quantum entanglement has emerged as a new resource to enhance cooperation and remove dilemmas.This paper aims to explore conditions under which full cooperation is achievable even when the information of payoff is incomplete.Based on the quantum version of the extended classical cash in a hat game,we demonstrate that quantum entanglement may be used for achieving full cooperation or avoiding moral hazards with the reasonable profit distribution policies even when the profit is uncertain to a certain degree.This research further suggests that the fairness of profit distribution should play an important role in promoting full cooperation.It is hopeful that quantum entanglement and fairness will promote full cooperation among distant people from various interest groups when quantum networks and quantum entanglement are accessible to the public.

基于分布式压缩感知的量子过程层析被引量:1

量子过程层析是量子信息科学研究的基础之一,但其所需的实验资源会随着量子比特的增加而指数增长。考虑到过程矩阵的稀疏性,近年来一种压缩感知量子过程层析方法可以大大降低量子过程层析的成本和后处理时间。但量子通道研究需要同时层析多种量子门,并且每个量子通道在层析过程中都会存在野点数据。该文提出一种分布式压缩感知量子过程层析方法,通过组合稀疏学习的模式能同时进行多量子通道层析,并有效地剔除野点数据。仿真结果表明:相对于单通道的压缩传感量子过程层析,该方法重构的量子过程矩阵保真度高且对野点数据有较强的鲁棒性,改善了层析性能。

Parity-time-symmetric whispering-gallery mode nanoparticle sensor[Invited]被引量:3

We present a study of single nanoparticle detection using parity-time (PT) symmetric whispering-gaUery mode (WGM) resonators. Our theoretical model and numerical simulations show that, with balanced gain and loss, the PT-symmetric WGM nanoparticle sensor, tailored to operate at PT phase transition points (also called exceptional points), exhibits significant enhancement in frequency splitting when compared with a single WGM nanopartide sensor subject to the same perturbation. The presence of gain in the PT-symmetric system leads to narrower linewidth, which helps to resolve smaller changes in frequency splitting and improve the detection limit of nanoparticle sensing. Furthermore, we also provide a general method for detecting multiple nanopartides entering the mode volume of a PT-symmetric WGM sensor one by one. Our study shows the feasibility of PT-symmetric WGM resonators for ultrasensitive single nanoparticle and biomolecule sensing.

求解量子系统时间最优控制问题的同伦算法研究被引量:1

针对数值求解量子系统时间最优控制问题中反复调用梯度算法导致计算量大的问题,本文提出一类同伦算法用以快速求解量子系统的时间最优控制问题.与已有算法不同,这一算法通过引入同伦变量在减小终端时间的方向上搜索最优解.在这一算法中,可通过自由函数构造保真度函数对控制变量的梯度方向,也可通过方向函数引导算法的搜索方向,以加快算法的搜索速度.本文将这一算法用于求解量子系统态转移和门变换的时间最优控制问题.仿真结果表明这一算法的有效性.

基于量子算法的量子态层析新方案被引量:3

在经典信息可有效制备为量子态和量子算法可物理实现的条件下,深入研究了量子算法如何有效改善基于线性回归估计的量子态层析算法的时间复杂度问题.在已有的量子算法基础上,形成了量子态层析的新方案.与现有的经典算法相比,本文所提方案需要引入量子态制备和额外的测量环节,但能显著降低量子态层析的时间复杂度.对于维数为d的待重构密度矩阵,当所用的量子算法涉及的矩阵的条件数κ和估计精度ε的倒数的复杂度均为O(poly log d),且所需同时制备的量子态数目规模是O(d)时,本方案可将量子态层析整体算法的时间复杂度从O(d^4)降为O(dpoly log d).

Transparency and amplification in a hybrid system of the mechanical resonator and circuit QED被引量:6

We theoretically study the transparency and amplification of a weak probe field applied to the cavity in hybrid systems formed by a driven superconducting circuit QED system and a mechanical resonator,or a driven optomechanical system and a superconducting qubit.We find that both the mechanical resonator and the superconducting qubit can result in the transparency to a weak probe field in such hybrid systems when a strong driving field is applied to the cavity.We also find that the weak probe field can be amplified in some parameter regimes.We further study the statistical properties of the output field via the degrees of second-order coherence.We find that the nonclassicality of the output field strongly depends on the system parameters.Our studies show that one can control single-photon transmission in the optomechanical system via a tunable artificial atom or in the circuit QED system via a mechanical resonator.

A high-fidelity memory scheme for quantum data buses

A novel quantum memory scheme is proposed for quantum data buses in scalable quantum computers by using adjustable interaction. Our investigation focuses on a hybrid quantum system including coupled flux qubits and a nitrogen–vacancy center ensemble. In our scheme, the transmission and storage(retrieval) of quantum state are performed in two separated steps, which can be controlled by adjusting the coupling strength between the computing unit and the quantum memory. The scheme can be used not only to reduce the time of quantum state transmission, but also to increase the robustness of the system with respect to detuning caused by magnetic noises. In comparison with the previous memory scheme, about 80% of the transmission time is saved. Moreover, it is exemplified that in our scheme the fidelity could achieve 0.99 even when there exists detuning, while the one in the previous scheme is 0.75.

量子比特是量子信息与计算的基本单元.如何表征、探测以及操纵多量子比特系统之间的量子关联是量子信息处理和量子测量理论的重要课题.文章采用特征多项式方法表征量子比特系统,并指出了这一方法在揭示多量子系统间量子关联中的重要性.首先,通过密度算子的特征多项式表示,得到了密度算子正定性的充分必要条件.其次,通过研究两比特系统的量子关联,推导出特征多项式系数与Quantum Steering Ellipsoid(QSE)体积间存在的等式关系.最后,通过研究三比特纯态系统,重新证明了系统之间量子关联存在单配关系.

Quantum parameter estimation in a spin-boson dephasing quantum system by periodical projective measurements

In this paper,we explore how to estimate the phase damping parameter γ and the tunneling amplitude parameter ?from a spin-boson dephasing quantum model by periodical projective measurements.The preparation of initial states is accomplished by performing the period measurements in our scheme.The parameter γ can be always estimated when projective measurement bases are chosen as θ = π/2 and φ = 0.Based on the estimated value of γ and the interval information of ?,we can select another measurement bases(θ = π/4 and φ = π/2) to obtain the estimated value of ?.A coherent control is indispensable to estimate ? if γ is in the interval of ?;whereas the control is not necessary if γ is out of the known interval of ?.We establish the relation between the optimal period time and the parameter γ or ? in terms of Fisher information.Although the optimal measurement period cannot be selected beforehand,the aforementioned relation can be utilized to adjust the measurement period to approach the optimal one.
