一种计算非线性兴波阻力的基于NURBS的高阶面元法(英文)被引量:4

文章开发了一种用于求解非线性兴波阻力问题的基于非均匀有理B样条(NURBS)的高阶面元法。该方法采用NURBS基函数表达物面几何和边界面上的源强分布。为了满足非线性自由面边界条件,开发了一个迭代算法;辐射条件通过采用网格错位的数值技术得到满足。以Wigley数学船型为例,在一系列的船速下计算了非线性兴波阻力。数值结果表明所提出的方法对于计算兴波阻力是精确和有效的。

应用支持向量机的船舶操纵运动响应模型辨识(英文)被引量:14

建模是评估船舶操纵性和可控性的重要前提。基于自由自航船模试验的系统辨识方法是求取船舶操纵运动数学模型中的水动力系数的有效手段之一。文中提出了一种使用支持向量回归估计的船舶操纵运动响应模型辨识方法,该方法通过训练自由自航试验数据样本得到参数回归模型。辨识和仿真结果验证了文中所提出的方法的有效性。

船撞桥最小二乘支持向量机预测方法被引量:7

为了提高桥梁与桥区通航船舶的安全性,提出了一种船撞桥概率智能预测方法。以桥墩跨径、水流速度、水流方向与桥墩连线法线方向夹角以及航道弯曲度为系统输入,以单航次船撞桥事故率为系统输出,应用最小二乘支持向量机进行了船撞桥概率估算。结合实际航道,选择了长江和黑龙江上12座桥梁的洪水期、中水期和枯水期3个时段的样本数据进行验算,并与神经网络船撞桥概率估算结果进行对比。对比结果表明:支持向量机方法能准确地预报船撞桥概率,具有全局最优解,并且收敛性和学习效率均优于神经网络。

Ship berthing is a specific maneuver operation. The flow around a berthing ship and the forces acting on the hull are quite different from those for a ship in normal navigation. By solving the unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations, the transient flow field around a ship undergoing unsteady lateral motion is simulated and the varying lateral hydrodynamic force acting on the hull is evaluated in this article. The numerical results obtained with different turbulence models are analyzed and compared with experimental results and other numerical results published in literature, and a turbulence model more suitable for simulation of the viscous flow around a ship undergoing unsteady berthing is determined.

Geometry Modeling of Ship Hull Based on Non-uniform B-spline被引量:4

In order to generate the three-dimensional (3-D) hull surface accurately and smoothly,a mixed method which is made up of non-uniform B-spline together with an iterative procedure was developed.By using the iterative method the data points on each section curve are calculated and the generalized waterlines and transverse section curves are determined.Then using the non-uniform B-spline expression,the control vertex net of the hull is calculated based on the generalized waterlines and section curves.A ship with tunnel stern was taken as test case.The numerical results prove that the proposed approach for geometry modeling of 3-D ship hull surface is accurate and effective.

Design and Analysis of an Adaptive Handover Protocol for 4G Networks

The future generation networks or 4G networks constitute of varied technologies converged over the Internet protocol version 6(IPv6) core. The 4G networks offer varied services over different interfaces to the user nodes. Mobility management in 4G networks is an issue that exists. The handover protocols for mobility management in 4G networks that currently exist, do not consider wireless signal degradation during handover operations. This paper introduces the Noise Resilient Reduced Registration Time Care of Mobile IP(NR RRTC:MIP) protocol for handover management. A handover decision algorithm based on the signal strength measured by the user nodes is considered in the NR RRTC: MIP protocol. A simulation study is discussed in the paper to evaluate the performance of the NR RRTC: MIP protocol. The results obtained from the simulation study prove that the NR RRTC: MIP protocol effectively reduces handover latencies and improves network performance.

Application of Support Vector Machine to Ship Steering被引量:3

System identification is an effective way for modeling ship manoeuvring motion and ship manoeuvrability prediction. Support vector machine is proposed to identify the manoeuvring indices in four different response models of ship steering motion, including the first order linear, the first order nonlinear, the second order linear and the second order nonlinear models. Predictions of manoeuvres including trained samples by using the identified parameters are compared with the results of free-running model tests. It is discussed that the different four categories are consistent with each other both analytically and numerically. The generalization of the identified model is verified by predicting different untrained manoeuvres. The simulations and comparisons demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

船舶操纵水动力建模的参数漂移消除和灵敏度分析被引量:8

针对应用系统辨识进行船舶操纵水动力建模过程中出现的参数漂移,提出了一种基于支持向量机的辨识方法,采用该方法对系统输入和输出样本数据进行批处理辨识,避免了参数估计初值的选定.通过引入附加激励,减小了船舶操纵运动过程中的动力相消效应,由系数辨识结果和对回归模型中变量的相关性分析验证了该方法的有效性.为了减小模型复杂度对参数漂移的影响,对模型中的水动力系数进行了灵敏度分析,以获取各个系数对操纵性预报及水动力建模的影响权重.分析结果表明,线性水动力导数、横向速度和转首角速度的三阶水动力导数对建模精度的影响最大.

基于自由自航船模试验或实船试验的系统辨识方法是一种确定船舶操纵运动水动力导数的有效方法。通过对舵角、漂角、转首角速度等试验数据的分析,用最小二乘支持向量机确定了船舶操纵运动数学模型中的水动力导数及其干扰力系数,其中非线性模型的参数辨识采用了多项式核函数。利用辨识得到的参数进行了操纵运动预报仿真并同自航模试验及实船试验数据对比,数值仿真结果验证了方法的有效性。

Numerical Research on Wave-making Resistance of Trimaran被引量:6

A 3D rankine panel method was developed for calculating the linear wave-making resistance of a tri-maran with Wigley hulls. In order to calculate the normal vector and derivative of the body surface accurately, non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) was adopted to represent body surface and rankine source density. The radiation condition is satisfied using the numerical technology of staggered grids. Numerical results show that the linear wave-making resistance of the trimaran can be calculated effectively using this method.
