The Oriental and Chinese endemic genus Semibetatropis is reviewed and currently includes 8 species. The male of Semibetatropis patungkuanensis Chen, Yang ＆ Wilson, 1989 （southeastern China： Taiwan） is reported and described for the first time. The generic characters are added by male genitalia characters. A key to species based on the males of the genus Semibetatropis is provided.
One new species of the genus Catonidia Uhler, 1896 （Hemiptera： Fulgoromorpha： Achilidae： Achilini）, C. choui sp. nov., from China is described and illustrated. A checklist and a key to the species of this genus worldwide are presented.
The planthopper genus Thabena Stal, 1861 （Hemiptera： Fulgoromorpha： Issidae： Issini） is reviewed to include four species from China： T hainanensis （Ran ＆ Liang, 2006） （China： Hainan）, T. lanpingensis sp. nov. （China： Yunnan）, T. litaoensis （Yang, 1994） （China： Taiwan, Hainan） and T. yunnanensis （Ran ＆ Liang, 2006） （China： Yunnan）. Two species, T. lanpingensis and T. litaoensis, are described or redescribed and illustrated. A key to all species of Thabena in China is given.
